24 - She Wore Blue Velvet
{Dress & Bag : Thrifted/Vintage (Mahim Market), Shoes : Zara, Necklace : Online, Ring : Aldo, Belt : Blur Designs}
This dress is the perfect amalgamation of everything I love :
1. It's Vintage.
2. It's made out of the softest velvet ever
3. Asian-esque collar detail
4. Floral
5. For 100 bucks! ($2)
When I bought the dress it was a little longer than it is here. Possibly meant to be a maxi dress with a slit behind. Since I'm on the taller side, maxi dresses refrain from looking like maxi dresses on me & begin to look more like awkward, slightly above the ankle length dresses. A trip to the tailor & 20 bucks later the result is this knee length dress. Très chic.
Where do I even begin with this bag? Vintage bags are my kryptonite. This one is so gorgeous I can't seem to take my eyes off of it. The pictures definitely don't do it justice.
1. Gold hardware
2. Caramel coloured exterior
3. The perfect hexagonal shape
4. Suede interior
5. 2 roomy compartments (wide enough for my wallet!)
I think I've found my dream bag. I have to thank my grandmother, though. She spotted it at the local flea market!

wow that dress is stunning! I really like the way you styled it- the belt and necklace almost seem part of the dress.
